Lisa Burkhardt Worley: Founder and POP Talk TV/Radio Co-Host/Producer; Documentary Film Producer; Blogger; Speaker

Lisa Burkhardt Worley loves her sisters in Christ and has been called by God to write and speak to women about overcoming the strongholds in their lives as well as to fight antisemitism through documentary filmmaking. After a difficult childhood, God helped Lisa to overcome her own personal obstacles and has given her a desire to share what she’s learned from her life experiences. She also has a strong calling to help women heal emotionally and to teach women about growing in the faith.

Lisa was both a national and local television sports anchor and reporter for nineteen years with HBO Sports (Inside the NFL), the Madison Square Garden Network (MSG Sportsdesk), ESPN, the local CBS affiliate in San Antonio (KENS) and the ABC affiliate in Chattanooga, Tennessee (WTVC). As a sports reporter, she regularly covered the NFL, NBA and in 1994, spent three and a half weeks reporting from the Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway. She was also the spokesperson for San Antonio International Airport for five years, part of which was during the events of 9-11.

After she rededicated her life to Christ in 1993, God led Burkhardt-Worley on a path that has included numerous ministry leadership positions, a seminary degree and a return to television. Lisa is the Executive Producer and Co-Host of a topical television show, “POP Talk,” that is currently reaching millions and found on The Faith Unveiled Network, King Television Network, CTN-Tallahassee, Frankspeech, Covenant Daughters Network, Overcomers TV, CTF-TV, World Trumpet, TV, Abundant TV, Bloom Network, Chryso Reign TV, Channel 49-Ft. After a return to her Jewish roots, Lisa now has a heart to fight antisemitism and has produced two documentaries to fight these acts of hatred. Her second documentary, Terror in Toulouse: Has the Community Recovered, has won over forty international film festival awards including “Best Short Documentary,” “Best Educational Documentary,” “Best Documentary to Fight Racism,” “Best Director,” and “Best Editing.” She also recently co-produced another documentary in Israel with Destiny Yarbrough Ministries called “Bridging the Gap in the Holy Land.” Lisa is currently working on another documentary to fight holocaust denial called “Their Blood Cries Out.”

Burkhardt Worley is a ten-time award-winning author, co-author or co-editor of ten books and a Bible study, including her recently released book about her journey back to her Jewish roots, an apologetics book designed to reach Jewish people, The Root that Never Died, and last year’s release to help the fatherless, The Only Father I Ever Knew: How a Fatherless Child Finally Found True Love, and the Knowing the Father Bible study, that debuted in May, 2019. In addition, she’s co-authored the Pearls of Promise devotional, four-time award winner If I Only Had:  Wrapping Yourself in God’s Truth During Storms of Insecurity, two children’s books: The Most Powerful P: A Child’s Introduction to the Power of Prayer, and The Most Powerful P Activity Book and Prayer Journal. She is a co-editor/compiler for four Roaring Lambs books: Stories of Roaring Faith, Volumes 1-4. 

Burkhardt-Worley’s writing awards include being named a finalist in the “Christian Non-Fiction” category of the Next Generation Indie Book Award Competition for her most recent book, The Root that Never Died, and was also named a finalist in the “Christian Non-Fiction” category of the 2019 Next Generation Indie Book Award Competition for her book The Only Father I Ever Knew. She was a 2015 Christian Literary Award for The Most Powerful P. If I Only Had received a 2014 Christian Literary award and was named a finalist in the 2015 international “Next Generation Indie Book Award” competition. If I Only Had…was the recipient of two other national or regional awards. Stories of Roaring Faith, Volume 2 won a 2018 Christian Literary Award in the Testimonial category, captured the “Reader’s Choice” award and in 2017, the first Stories of Roaring Faith also received a Christian Literary Award.

Lisa provides biblically-based inspirational messages at church gatherings, retreats and she also gives presentations on leadership to secular groups, both in the Texas area and in other parts of the country. She is the former Women’s Ministry Leader at Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church in Flower Mound where she oversaw all women’s ministry activities, planned events, and spoke regularly at a monthly women’s luncheon at Trietsch called “First Friday Feast.” Lisa and her husband are now members at Gateway Church in Southlake, where she serves as the Intercessory Prayer Leader for Jewish Ministries, is on Altar Ministry, serves on the overall intercessory prayer team for Gateway and is an Equip Teacher.

Lisa earned her Masters of Theological Studies Degree at Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2008 and is working on her Doctor of Ministry degree at The King’s University, with an emphasis in Messianic Jewish Studies. Lisa is a San Antonio, Texas native but moved to Flower Mound (near Dallas) in 2005. Rosemary Legrand: Communications Coordinator; Co-Prayer Leader;POP Talk Back-Up Co-Host: Speaker

In addition to handling most of the communications for Pearls of Promise Ministries, Rosemary Legrand is also the Director of Operation for Joy and Company and co-host of The Review with Joy & Company Radio Show.

She is a retired administrative phenom from a legacy airline and has had the opportunity to travel extensively for many years. A vibrant, enthusiastic Christian, Rosemary loves God with all her heart. Spend just a few moments with her and she will encourage you wherever you are in your walk with Christ.     She is the author of the “WIC (Words Inspiring Change)

Consistently being used by God, Rosemary is a powerful yet humble motivational speaker. Speaking to all groups from adults to teens, she has been on the battlefields enlightening and encouraging others for many years, for she feels she has no choice that it’s her God given duty. She is bountifully rewarded being in His service and graciously accepts the call to servant-hood.

Born and raised on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia, Rosemary and her family called London, England home for over twenty-two years. She attended Kenley College and later accepted the role as principal of Ebony School of Hairdressing.

Aurora Ortega Geis: Marketing Director; POP Talk Back-Up Co-Host; Speaker

Aurora is a Leadership Coach, Digital Marketing Expert, and Founder of A GO Strategy, a coaching, training and consulting company. Aurora handles most of the marketing for Pearls of Promise, including Social Media posts and strategic planning of outreaches like the Pearls of Purpose Branding Workshop and the 2018 Level-Up Conference. She is also a regular speaker at Pearls of Promise events.

In addition to her work at Pearls of Promise, Aurora also leads the effort for Digital Creative Institute (DCI) to partner with the Department of Labor’s Office of New Apprenticeship, industry business leaders and public officials, to become the first digital marketing apprentice model in the U.S. She acts as the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Head Coach with DCI.

Aurora is a former Chairman of the Board for CPS Energy, the nation’s largest public power company, and was the Director of the Fannie Mae Partnership in San Antonio. In 2007, She joined Credit Human, a $2.5 Billion Credit Union as a Senior Credit Officer growing the mortgage portfolio from $480M to over $800M and later became their Membership Officer expanding the federally charted credit union.

Aurora is a wife, mother and community volunteer. In the secular world, she guides the transformation of people and business by aligning purpose with strategy and execution. Michelle Burden: VP of Development; Co-Host, POP Talk TV, Speaker

Michelle’s passion is to teach women how to love God and lead others to do the same. Michelle is a Colorado native who currently reside in the DFW Area. Michelle graduated with an M.Div. in Biblical Language from Liberty University and is currently in the D.Min. program at The King’s University studying Messianic Jewish Studies. Michelle also holds a two-year certification from Entrust/LeedGlobal Ministries and is currently writing for the Adult Content Ministry Team at Gateway Church. Michelle has twenty years of experience in Human Resources.

Renee Rollins: Worship Leader; Co-Host, POP Talk TV

Christian recording artist and songwriter, Renee Rollins, is a worship leader who has performed on the Dove Awards New Artist Showcase, at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, and was invited to Budapest, Hungary where she led worship for the Greater Europe Missions Conference. Renee’s original Christian jazz songs have received airplay on KCBI Radio in Dallas, along with KIHL Hilo, Hawaii, her home state. She has recently released two new CD’s: “His Eye is on the Sparrow,” a collection of jazz hymn arrangements, and her new exciting Christmas CD, “Count Your Blessings.” You can find her music on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and numerous other platforms. Renee serves as worship leader for the Shabbat prayer services at Gateway church, in connection with Gateway Center for Israel, and serves with the Gateway Song Review Team, associated with Gateway Worship Ministry. Two years ago, she completed an original song writing project with the Connell worship community entitled “Beautiful Brokenness.” Renee continues to write, arrange, and record with her husband and sound engineer, Donnie, from their home in Colleyville, Texas.
