“Lisa is a powerful, dynamic, and persuasive speaker with a compelling story that reaches your heart.”

Jan Stroman, Founder, “Ladies in Touch.”

“Lisa was the keynote speaker at our “Power-Up” Women’s Conference in San Antonio and she brought so much energy and power to our women!  She presented three messages that were engaging, covered serious biblical topics, yet she weaved her humor throughout to make the presentations both interesting and fun as well.”

Kacey Wernli, Women’s Ministry Leader, University United Methodist Church

“We liked Lisa so much the first time that we asked her back! The second time she spoke was just as powerful as the first. I highly recommend Lisa as a keynote speaker for any women’s retreat.”

Dawn Mechler, Women’s Ministry Leader, Place of Grace Fellowship

“Lisa Burkhardt was the speaker at our women’s weekend retreat. Her enthusiasm and love for the Word of God and love for God was very evident. Lisa has a heart for women and it shows in her talks. She is a very gifted teacher and speaker. We were all blessed and encouraged by her to continue to live our lives for God and place God first in our lives.”

Sheila Figueroa, First Presbyterian Church, San Antonio, Texas

It has been such a value added experience to have the author of
the Knowing The Father Bible study for our Northview ladies. I
have discovered having Lisa, live and in person, lead her own
Bible study, has been pivotal to the understanding and
participation of Knowing The Father.  Getting to hear Lisa’s heart
and her stories and connection of scripture has helped my ladies
identify and connect the God dots to understanding the
characteristics of God as our Father in their lives.
Andrea Gibson, Women’s Ministry Leader, Northview Baptist Church, Lewisville, Texas

When we learned Lisa Burkhardt Worley was invited to speak at our annual Gathering of the Women, many of us were excited, after all she is a home town girl who began her pioneering sports broadcasting career here.  By the end of the evening all of us felt we had visited with an old friend, an especially lively, interesting and knowledgeable friend.  In ways people of all ages and stations can relate to Lisa made the story of Jonah come alive.  She wove the truths of Scripture together with practical insights into overcoming struggles with insecurity and the concerns of daily living we all face.  Like Jonah, she said, we need to free ourselves from negative thought patterns that keep us from seeing God’s bigger picture.  Lisa’s ministry focuses on helping others to do just that.  Our prayer is that God will continue to bless Lisa and the Pearls of Promise Ministry.

Argyle United Methodist Church Light Women’s Ministry recently held an eight week Bible study with teaching from Lisa Worley and Rebecca Carrell. Lisa has an incredible passion and desire to serve God and it shows in her teaching. We were truly blessed and honored to have Lisa come and share her knowledge of the Bible with us.

Kim Thomas, Director of Adult Discipleship and Congregational Care, Argyle UMC

Lisa Burkhardt Worley is a strong leader who carries a passion and purpose to help women know who they are in Christ, and to overcome the things that hold them back in their relationship with God.  In September, 2013, Lisa shared with our MOPS and Moms Next group, offering them a powerful yet tender message of God’s hope and peace in the midst of exhausting and frazzled days. I highly recommend Lisa as a keynote or breakout speaker, she would be a perfect pearl at any women’s event.

Patty Mason, MOPS Mentor, Harpeth Community Church, Franklin, TN

Lisa Worley uses her God-given talents to inspire women to find joy in their lives. Her personal examples, biblical references, and pearls of wisdom offered a positive message to our women about living a life of gratitude. Lisa’s television background, seminary training, and life experiences have prepared her well to relate to women on many different levels. Her presentation to our women was relevant, humorous, and divinely inspired.  We pray God’s blessings on her ministry!

Dr. Cathy Robbs Turner, Director of Education, Christ United Methodist Church, Chattanooga, Tennessee

Lisa Burkhardt Worley is a phenomenal speaker and motivator. Her story touched every woman at our conference. I could see the passion rising up in these women as they listened to Lisa’s testimony. Praise for her message continues to roll in almost a week later. She has such an incredible heart for building up the lives of others and we feel extremely honored to have had her speak to our group. I highly recommend her for churches and ministries looking for an empowering and inspiring speaker for their next event.

“When Lisa Worley is speaking, I have a resonating sense of the authenticity of her relationship with God and with Jesus Christ.  She is credible!  Her personal, close relationship inspires me to spend more time myself listening for the voice of God.”

Dr. Marilyn Hurlbut, Former Manager of Training and Development, Arco Oil and Gas Company

Lisa Worley provides a new lens through which to view our lives.  She brings a personal and fresh glimpse of God through her ministry in speaking, teaching and writing.  My first introduction to Lisa was to be in a Bible Study that she facilitated – what enthusiasm for sharing God’s Word!  Lisa is a uniquely gifted communicator who conveys Biblical principles with relevance, humor, compassion and gentle conviction.  When you hear her speak, you’ll see how God has been weaving the threads of Lisa’s life to form a rich tapestry that unwraps the Word of God in a unique and powerful way.

Sandra Sucher, Bible Teacher and Facilitator, Wife of Lutheran pastor

There was an award ceremony recently at the University of North Texas, Lisa Burkhardt Worley was the first person we contacted to be part of the event.  You see, Lisa strode into my sports reporting class at UNT more than 30 years ago announcing she wanted to a sports announcer with play-by-play experience and I should teach her. She was “really” serious.  I looked forward, at the time, to women broadcasting sports. She of course aced the course became one of the first television sports anchors in the country and with her skill and dogged determination moved into major league sports reporting. She was always mentioned in my class as an example, especially when young women students began studying sports broadcasting.  Lisa tells you something, suggests action, leads the way, because she believes in herself and those around her. When she walks into your life, as she did mine, you will always remember Lisa and what she says and believes.

Bill Mercer, UNT-1959-2009, Former Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and University of North Texas Announcer

Lisa Worley is a gifted teacher and speaker.  She has tremendous insight into issues that resonate with women.  Her background in television reporting combined with her seminary training and religious studies degree has prepared her beautifully to teach and reach women with a relevant message from God.  She is passionate and enthusiastic about helping women be all that God intends them to be through Jesus Christ.

Rev. Karen Chraska, Music Ministry Staff Leader, Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church

I have had the privilege of both working with and studying under Lisa Worley.  She is engaging, witty, well-versed in Scripture, and very talented.  She speaks and teaches with grace and humility, and has a gift for bringing the stories of the Bible to life.  Her love for Jesus and her heart for women shines through everything she does.  It is my honor to give Lisa Burkhardt Worley my recommendation as a speaker for your next event!

Rebecca Ashbrook Carrell, KCBI-Radio Morning Show Co-host/Christian Motivational Speaker/Writer, Love-Serve-Shine Ministries

“I have known Lisa for over 35 years, and in those years, have seen a transformation that only God’s Holy Spirit can bring to someone’s life.  Lisa’s life today is one of service and in living her life for Christ.  Lisa has had quite a life journey to date, but I am certain that the work she devotes herself to today is far greater and richer than what she could have imagined.  Yet, it is those life experiences that make it so enjoyable to hear Lisa speak as she shares God’s word, and in particular her testimony of His hand over her life.  I have very much enjoyed listening to Lisa these past few years as she has lead one particular group of women each summer – you can see, hear, and feel her passion and love for Christ.  Lisa is engaging and fun, along with being a heartfelt speaker that brings a great perspective to the written word and His truth.  It brings me great joy to see what our Lord has done in Lisa’s life and how He is continuing to use Lisa to spread the word to others.”
