The Pearls of Promise Team has a heart for the Jewish people and is doing its part by making the world more aware of the issue of antisemitism. Pearls Founder, Lisa Burkhardt Worley has produced two documentaries on antisemitism.

The first, The Resurgence of Antisemitism in the United States: How Did We Get Here and How Do We Stop It? was named a finalist for “Most Inspiring Documentary” at the 2022 International Christian Film Festival.

Her second documentary, Terror in Toulouse: Has the Community Recovered? has won 32 international film festival awards and was named “Best Short Documentary” at the Cult International Film Festival and the World Indie Film Awards, and won “Best Short Documentary” and “Best Editing” at the 8 and a Half Film Awards.

Lisa also recently produced and collaborated on a documentary with Destiny Yarbrough Ministries in Israel called “Bridging the Gap in the Holy Land.”

In August, Lisa attended the ISGAP Summer Institute on Antisemitism at Oxford University where she successfully completed the program.

Pearls of Promise has started a Facebook page called “A Bridge of Love” to honor the Jewish people. https://facebook.com/abridgeoflove/. Managed by POP Team Member Onyx Conklin, the page contains positive stories, news and POP programming that centers around Israel or the Jewish population.

In addition, team members are engaged in Jewish-related activities outside of Pearls of Promise. Both Lisa and Michelle Burden are working on a Doctor of Ministry in Messianic Jewish Studies. Lisa, Renee Rollins and Michelle all serve at Gateway Church in Jewish Ministries. Renee is a Worship Leader for the Shabbat Service, Michelle is on the Jewish Ministry Build Team, and Lisa leads Intercessory Prayer and oversees a quarterly Global Prayer Call that intercedes for worldwide Messianic Leaders.

We believe our work in Jewish ministry will continue to expand, as we wait on the Lord’s direction in this arm of Pearls of Promise.
