Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,  because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. (James 1:2-3)

Your past can cause you to look at life in a negative way. Maybe you walk through life with a negative attitude. If you were abused as a child,  if you had absent parents, maybe you were bullied….there are many different problems you could’ve had. You have probably found a way to build walls and protect yourself, walls that are unhealthy, maybe bad relationships or an addiction of some sort.

If you find it hard to let go or become accustomed to your problems and feel like the whole world needs to make an allowance for what happened to you, you are wrong…..you can’t expect the whole human race to get out of the way because you had a bad childhood. They won’t do it. Then you will become more frustrated and negative.

You can break the chains of bondage of your past! You have got to fix your attitude first though. The things that happened to me are not who I am today. The things that came to break me in the past make me better today! You must allow healing and first fix your mind on the positive. There is positive all around you….you can chose to see the bad or look for the good every day. But a negative “get out of my way attitude” will only make your days longer and harder. No one wants to be around that! You create a negative atmosphere for yourself. Your attitude is what affects your situation, not other people’s attitude toward you. We keep alive things that should be released and we release things that we should of kept alive. We all were given wings…..fix your attitude first, mend the broken wings and fly!

Don’t spend another day bent down and broken; you were made for so much more! You don’t have to mope around saying,  “Poor me all these bad things happened in my life.” Bad is going to happen….to everyone, chose to be the person that overcomes! You will be amazed at what a difference every positive day brings!

You say you have nothing positive to look at?? I challenge that…..breathe in…feel that? Oxygen. Be thankful!
