God’s Provision by the Pearl Girls

And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)

As the Pearl Girls make their way back to Texas after a nine-day ministry trip, we are reflecting on all the ways the Lord provided for us on this journey.

We spoke in three cities, Little Rock, Arkansas, Franklin, Tennessee and Chattanooga, Tennessee, and in all three locations, friends or family members opened up their homes so we’d have a place to stay.  In Franklin, one of our Pearls of Promise devotional authors, Patty Mason, hosted us, sight unseen!  She was living out Hebrews 11:1:  Now faith is being sue of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Patty had faith that when we rolled into Franklin we were genuine pearls, not faux jewelry.

The hospitality of the Masons, Karen Hauser’s family in Arkansas and Lisa’s adopted mom, Joyce Putnam, in Ringgold, Georgia, will never be forgotten.  Neither will the Pearl Girls ever forget the friends we met along the way, whether it was Joyce at the Little Rock hotel, Debbie at the Country Music Hall of Fame, Cicily, who worked at the hotel we stayed at in Nashville or Kelly, the Customer Relations Manager at the Chattanooga Barnes and Noble.  They were all incredible Christians who touched our lives, or who God allowed us to reach for Him in one-on-one encounters.

God is good. He provides for all our needs.  Our Pearls team is also thankful for safe travel and all of the women who coordinated our speaking events: Donna Hendricks in Little Rock, Patty Mason in Franklin and Dr. Cathy Turner in Chattanooga. We were also blessed by the countless women, the Lord drew to the respective events.

Last, but certainly not least, we are in awe of the majesty of God’s creation as we witnessed amazing scenery on the way home. Beautiful mountains, towering evergreens, cloud formations like none other.  What an appropriate way to put an exclamation point on the mighty work of God we witnessed on our southern tour. Yes, God is always faithful to provide what we need.  We just have to trust him as we travel through life

The Pearls of Promise team is also trusting God to be our guide as we prepare for our retreat with Love Serve Shine Ministries, “It’s a Jungle Out There: Trusting God to Be Our Guide.” There is less than a week left to get the early bird rate of $99.99.
