I am still trying to get a handle on how much God loves me. What about you?
It may be a lifelong battle to understand the depth of God’s love, but I am praying in agreement with Ephesians 3:17-19 that through God’s power, I will eventually comprehend how wide and deep is the love of Christ.
I want Jesus’ love to take over in those times I feel unloved.
I desire God’s love to embrace me when sad memories attempt to tackle me.
I want the love of God to fill me to overflowing so everyone I come into contact with is splashed with His compassion for them.
I know Divine love is more than capable to provide what’s needed.
I am writing this blog from a peaceful hotel room in Bee Cave, Texas, a place I go periodically. In the still of this room, I wondered, Has everything been written about God’s greatness? If not, I asked God to give me a new original song about His great love. I believe our Heavenly Father basks in worship songs about how great He is because He wakes me up every morning with tunes like: “Great are You Lord” by All Sons and Daughters, “Greater Than” by Mark Harris, and “How Great is our God” by Chris Tomlin.
But would He give me a song? Psalm 33:3 says, “Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.” I’m not sure I will play skillfully, but God was faithful to provide the lyrics for a musical offering about His love, based on Ephesians 3:17–19. I hope it will speak to you.

It’s more than our mind can conceive.
Lord, give us the faith to believe.
