Today’s guest blogger is Maggie Jalufka Sova. Maggie is an enthusiastic, free-spirited self-motivator who is goal-oriented and loves challenges. Sova’s passion is motivational speaking and inspiring others to fulfill their destiny, and encouraging other to be all they were created to be with their God-given talents.

Her life experiences and growing up in a broken and abusive home, later suffering eight miscarriages through IVF cycles and marital challenges, have helped her identify with other women through their trying journeys. She can relate to their pain, but also share her story to  shed light on her darkest areas she encountered as God strengthened her and healed those wounded areas. Peace- The definition “is freedom from disturbance; quiet and tranquility.”

Are you able to walk along the path of peace?  Oh my, how we struggle trying to experience peace in the journey of this life.  Peace of mind is all that we want.  We all want to be able to rest, and not worry, and to feel free not to have to worry.

Sometimes when we can’t find peace of mind, we get depressed.  We often may lash out at God or someone else near us to take out that frustration.  What do you do to get peace?  I mean real peace in your life.  Where do you start?  What is your outlet?

For myself, I know the personal struggle of trying to stay in the “faith” realm and trust, but we lose it at times, when we are being tested or encounter hardship. How do we avoid being robbed of our joy?  I find the best place to start is with God’s word.

Philippians 4: 6-9 (NIV)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put  into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

Worry is sin.  It means you are not trusting in God.  The LORD wants you to have true peace by praying about—everything.  God’s way is P-e-r-f-e-c-t! Transform your fear into being confident to trust, knowing no matter what you are going through you are in the safety net of God’s everlasting arms.  So many times I need to remind myself of the peace I can grasp onto, instead of letting fear captivate my mind.

Once you are able to stay in the presence of God, there you will experience the peace you are longing for!  These things are written to you so that the God of Peace will be with you.  Know that God dwells within you and it is up to you to choose His peace.

Isaiah 26:3 (NIV)

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”
