“God has downloaded His heart for the Jewish people into yours.” That was a prophetic word I received recently, and I realized it is true. We held our documentary premiere of Their Blood Cries Out on Thursday night and even though I had seen the documentary numerous times, I still welled up with tears while watching it. My heart is to honor the Jewish people and fight any hatred against them. I do it through documentaries and television shows. Soon we will have a website with curriculum that explains antisemitism in a detailed way.
There’s a Christian song I love called “Hosanna.” In it, the lyrics say: “Break my heart for what breaks yours.” In my own life I have prayed that statement and I believe His heart will flow through us when we are willing to take it on. When speaking about Israel in Ezekiel 36:26, the LORD says, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” However, I think God has the ability to soften all hearts as evidenced after salvation. Salvation does something inexplicable in our inner nature. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” I know this from personal experience. I am not the same person I once was.
